Bultaco Metralla Mk 2 250 M23

This point marks the culmination of the Metralla saga. Mounting a new engine with super square figures (San Antonio 2), five speeds and 250cc cylinder capacity, a perfect balance was found between agility and performance. The Mark 2 was one of the bikes that made Bultaco internationally renowned. The international press praised the fact that its success was based on “the triumph of simplicity and efficiency over Japanese sophistication and complexity”. Equipped with the “Racing Kit”, these bikes obtained magnificent results in production races. Specially remarkable are the first and second places one in the 1967 Tourist Trophy (TT) Production trophy race with an average speed that would’ve allowed the winner to stand on the podium in the senior race.
